5am Games
5am Games is a game studio based in beautiful Zurich.
We focus on creative, charming games with meaningful interactions and a good dose of silly humour.
We are

inclusive
In our games we show authentic characters instead of stereotypes. As an all women's team, it is especially important to us to reach female players who are otherwise ignored by the industry.

responsible
Video games are a powerful medium. We are aware of this responsibility and therefore focus on meaningful interactive stories without unnecessary violence.

Swiss made
We are proud to be part of the innovative Swiss gaming industry. We always strive to create high-quality products and deliver them on time.what we do
our game
Letters is a fun word puzzle game about friendship, growing up and finding your place in life. Follow Sarah, a shy girl from Switzerland, by moving through her pen pal letters and chat messages. Use the power of words to solve riddles, interact with her friends and decide who she will grow up to be.

client work
We developed the game Radical Choices in collaboration with Stiftung Risiko-Dialog and the Think & Do Tank Dezentrum.
The game is part of the project Gaming against Extremism.
A toolkit aimed at social workers that address the topic of radicalization in their work with kids and teenagers.
Digital spaces play an important part in the radicalization of young people. Fueled by propaganda and fake news, more and more teenagers are falling into the clutches of radical groups and extremists.
The game Radical Choices teaches young people the mechanisms behind radicalization in a playful way.
By noticing, understanding, and classifying different push- and pull-factors of radicalization, players become more knowledgeable and aware of these tactics and will become better at recognizing potentially dangerous situations in the future.
